XXXTENTACION Documentary 'LOOK AT ME' Set To Premiere in March

This documentary will go through the journey of the rapper towards fame.

An XXXTENTACION documentary is now ready to be released in 2022, after teasing original plans in 2019. The official XXXTENTACION film will premiere at SXSW 2022 in March, according to X's estate, which revealed the news on Wednesday (February 2).

The documentary, titled Look At Me after his thunderous 2015 breakout song, is set to premiere on Hulu for streaming later this summer.

“It’s finally here: a film that takes you through the complicated life of a troubled and controversial genius, XXXTENTACION,” the slain Florida rapper’s estate wrote. “LOOK AT ME explores how Florida teenager Jahseh Onfroy became SoundCloud rapper XXXTENTACION, one of the most streamed artists on the planet.

“Through frank commentary from family, friends and romantic partners, and unseen archival footage, director Sabaah Folayan offers a sensitive portrayal of an artist whose acts of violence, raw musical talent and open struggles with mental health left an indelible mark on his generation before his death at the age of 20.”

"SAD!" fans rejoice! " artist got a gift this week when his early favorite "Vice City," which was released in 2014, was posted to streaming services eight years later. The Laura Mvula-sampling tune is one of the last on XXXTENTACION's SoundCloud, and it appears on his debut XXX (Unmastered) album.

On June 18, 2018, at the age of 20, XXXTENTACION was shot and died outside RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Park, Florida. The four detained suspects (Dedrick Williams, Trayvon Newsome, Michael Boatwright, and Robert Allen) will be held in custody until their cases are heard.
