Khloé Kardashian announced that filming of her family’s show has started. 

In September of last year, fans were surprised when the Kardashians announced that Keeping Up With the Kardashians was coming to an end after 14 years. 

However, merely 3 months later, the family signed a deal to create content for Hulu this year. 

Hulu claimed that the Kardashian-Jenners would be making content under a multi-year deal and it will be streamed exclusively on the platform in US and multiple territories. 

This started speculations if it will still be a reality show like the one they had before or if they would veer away to a different format. 

Weeks after they announced KUWTK’s ending, Kris Jenner said that the family suddenly decided to end it following negotiations with E! About their contracts. 

She said that it was a sudden decision and that they did it as a family. She claimed that the family wanted to take some time away from the cameras. However, some sources say that they asked for more money in exchange for more seasons but were turned down. There are suggestions that they looked for a better deal elsewhere and it looks like Hulu gave it to them, if that were the case. 

Kim Kardashian said that for the Hulu show the turnaround will be faster. She also said that the show might feature Khloé’s relationship with Travis Barker. 

Khloé said in an interview that although it was weird at first to not be filming for the first time, it was actually nice for them to not be monitored and filmed all the time. She also jokingly said that there is nothing like being paid to be with each other.
