During tonight's Rams-Cardinals wild card game on ESPN and ABC, Marvel unveiled the "global trailer premiere" for their upcoming Moon Knight series. The promo also stated that the series will air on Disney+ on March 30, in addition to some great new footage. To see it, hover your mouse over the image above.
"I can’t tell the difference between my waking life and dreams," Oscar Issac, who plays Steven Grant near the end of the film, says with a genuine British accent.
Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, is troubled by blackouts and flashbacks of a past life in this series. Steven learns he suffers from dissociative identity disorder and is forced to share a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/foes Marc's close in on them, they must juggle their dual identities while immersed in a dangerous mystery involving Egypt's great gods.
That appears to be the truth, as the footage shows Steven/reality Marc's becoming progressively distorted until we hear Ethan Hawke's villain encouraging him to "embrace the chaos," at which time we witness the character change into the scary Egypt-powered superhero after whom the film is called.
Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy feature in Moon Knight. The episodes were directed by Mohamed Diab and the team of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater, and Oscar Isaac serve as executive producers, with Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Mohamed Diab, Jeremy Slater, and Oscar Isaac serving as head writers. A poster for the series was also released, portraying the superhero's hand grasping one of his signature crescent darts.
