Even though half of the BLACKPINK group was only able to attend Paris Fashion Week, the group made a stylish statement. With Paris Fashion Week in full force, the world's most renowned individuals are traveling to the city of love dressed to impress. One of them is BLACKPINK's Jisoo.
Jisoo attended the Dior Womenswear Spring/Summer 2022 show in Paris dressed entirely in Dior. And, as predicted, it was terrific. Jisoo donned black embroidered Greek statues and motifs on a short white dress. According to Vogue, the ensemble is from Dior's Resort 2022 collection. She finished the look with a flashy gold handbag and black platform heels. Jisoo's overall look was simple yet elegant and comfortable.
Although just half of the Blackpink girls have come thus far, they have taken Paris Fashion Week by storm.
Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, and Lisa are Dior, Saint Laurent, Chanel, and Celine's global ambassadors, with the first two already making an effect on the Paris audience.
The first was Jisoo, who was born Ji-soo Kim and was expected to make an appearance at the Dior spring 2022 show on Tuesday.
For her Paris Fashion Week debut, she wore a short black-and-white patterned A-line dress with embroidery of the ancient Greek goddess Athena from the French label's 2022 cruise collection. A shiny gold tiny Lady Dior handbag and black platform shoes complimented her look.
Despite the fact that Jisoo, or "Blinks" as she is known among Blackpink fans, was named Dior's global ambassador in March, the singer has already collaborated with the brand and creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri.
BLACKPINK's Rosé continues to rule the fashion world. She returned to Paris just weeks after making history at the 2021 Met Gala to support her Saint Laurent for their Spring/Summer 2022 presentation at the Eiffel Tower.
Rosé, who is a Saint Laurent global brand ambassador , donned a gorgeous LBD to the event, according to W. She wore a translucent black chiffon minidress with silk accents over a pair of black hot pants, which dangled from barely-there spaghetti straps. Black translucent tights, black knee-high boots, and a gold chain necklace studded with pearls completed Rosé's daring-yet-romantic ensemble. Her blonde hair was tied back into a messy, fashionable ponytail, framing her face with a few wayward strands. It was a simple look with a lot of class.
According to W, Rosé has been with the firm since 2020, and she's become good pals with creative director Anthony Vaccarello. "Saint Laurent in the way she lives, in the way she takes command of how she dresses, in her method of freeing herself from the mob," he told W of the artist. "She exemplifies contemporary society."
In September, Rosé wore an '80s-inspired black minidress with a giant white bow on the Met Gala carpet, while Vaccarello donned a '90s-inspired black minidress with a big white bow.
Rosé isn't the only member of BLACKPINK who has gone to Paris Fashion Week to support her favorite designers. Her bandmates Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo, have all collaborated with some of the most well-known French luxury fashion companies in the past and present. Lisa has worked with Celine, whereas Jennie is a Chanel model who has appeared in their advertisements. Jisoo is a global brand ambassador for Dior and it's no doubt why she was a fashion icon for the brand.
Any BLINK fan knows that the four band members have great style, and Paris Fashion Week is proving it once again as Rosé and her buddies show up in gorgeous looks after stunning looks.
