The nine programs from six nations competing for the renowned International Competition, as well as the lineup and Guests of Honor for this year's edition, the first to take place in person in three years, have been revealed by Series Mania.

To see the entire list, scroll down. Michael Hirst's Billy the Kid, for Epix, MGM, and Viaplay, Israel's Fire Dance, France's Le Monde De Demain, and the UK's The Birth of Daniel F. Harris are among the shows contending for the Competition, with each receiving a world premiere.

German actor Christian Berkel (Downfall, Valkyrie), Franco-Belgian actress Cécile de France (The Young Pope, Lost illusions), Israeli actress Shira Haas (Unorthodox), Turkish creator and director Berkun Oya (Bir Baskadir), and French singer-songwriter and model Yseult will be joining the jury president soon.

During the closing event on Friday, March 25, the jury will award the Grand Prize for Best Series, the Prize for Best Actress, and the Prize for Best Actor.

Hirst, along with Mathieu Kassovitz from The Bureau, Nathalie Baye from Call My Agent, and Isabelle Nanty from Munch, is a Guest of Honor.

The first in-person edition of Series Mania in three years will take place in Lille from March 18 to March 25.

Banijay Head of Scripted Lars Blomgren, France Télévisions Director of Cinema and International Development Manuel Alduy, and Federation Entertainment CEO Lionel Uzan are among the other guests and speakers announced today.

Panels and conferences will cover topics like sourcing tales, literary adaptations, and innovation, as well as the annual Co-Pro Pitching Sessions, which will include 15 programs competing for co-pro money, with one of them receiving €50,000 ($56,000) for development.

More than 300 concepts from 56 nations were proposed, with A Boy Disappears from Denmark, The Accident from Israel, and The Liberties from Ireland and Belgium among the finalists. The Report, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, will be shown in this category but will not be eligible to win.
