Comedy Central Acquires 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine'

Comedy Central has also set an all-day marathon for the sitcom series!

Comedy Central has bought the entire library of the Fox-turned-NBC cop comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine which stars Andy Samberg.

On Sunday, February 20, the eight-season sitcom series will premiere on Comedy Central, with the channel's all-day marathon commencing at 5 p.m. ET/PT. As they protect the NYPD's 99th Precinct, Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoic, ever-professional Capt. Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their colorful, lovable comrades, Brooklyn Nine-Nine follows their exploits. Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz, Joel McKinnon Miller, and Dirk Blocker all appeared in the series.

Starting with the series' first season, Comedy Central will begin airing additional episodes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Brooklyn Nine-Nine joins Seinfeld, Schitt’s Creek, Friends and The Office on Comedy Central’s roster.

The first season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which reached its series finale in September 2021, aired on Fox in September 2013. After five seasons on NBC, the comedy was picked up again for the eighth and final season, which brought the series to a finale. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is executive produced by Dan Goor, Mike Schur, David Miner, Luke Del Tredici, and David Phillips and is produced by Universal Television, Fremulon, Dr. Goor Productions, and 3 Arts Entertainment.
