'The Walking Dead' Star Moses Moseley Dies at 31

Condolences to the actor's family and friends.

Moses J. Moseley, who played one of Michonne's pet walkers on AMC's hit series The Walking Dead in its early days, died last week in Stockbridge, Georgia, at the age of 31.

Avery Sisters Entertainment, his Georgia-based handlers, verified the news on their Facebook page.

Police are investigating his death after his family reported him missing, according to reports. His car was tracked to a place where the body was discovered, according to TMZ.

“With a heavy heart, we at Avery Sisters Entertainment offer our sincerest and deepest condolences to the family and friends of our actor, Moses J. Moseley. We are truly saddened,” the company wrote on its Facebook page, adding, “For those who knew him, he was the kindest, sweetest, most generous person you would ever meet. We will miss you dearly!”

Moseley, a South Carolina native, has been in shows such as USA's Queen of the South and BET's American Soul, as well as HBO's Watchmen and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. He is best known as Danai Gurira's Michonne's pet walker on The Walking Dead, and he even appeared on an August 2012 Entertainment Weekly cover featuring Gurira and the zombie series.

On Monday, AMC paid tribute to Moseley.
