Mary J. Blige and H.E.R To Headline Jazz in the Gardens 2022

What an exciting lineup to watch out for!

The Jazz in the Gardens 2022 will now commemorate its 15th anniversary on March 12 and 13, 2020, with several of the previously confirmed acts in attendance.

The two-day event will be headlined by Mary J. Blige and H.E.R., with H.E.R.'s star rising over the last few years. She earned the Academy Award for "Best Original Song" for the song "Fight for You" from Judas and the Black Messiah earlier this year, in addition to the Grammy, BET, and VMA honors she has been receiving. She's also up for eight Grammy Awards, including "Album of the Year" and "Song of the Year," at next year's ceremony.

After releasing albums like Share My World, Mary, and No More Drama, Mary J. Blige became an icon. When she's not singing, she has a thriving film career, with a nomination for an Academy Award for "Best Supporting Actress" for her part in the 2017 film Mudbound.

The lineup also includes Rick Ross, the Isley Brothers, SWV, the Roots with special guest T-Pain, Stokely, Johnathan McReynolds, Mike Phillips, and Mark Allen Felton. (Local acts will be confirmed later.) Rickey Smiley, a radio personality and comedian, will return as host.

The Jazz in the Gardens will happen on 4 p.m. Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13, at Hard Rock Stadium.

Tickets are currently on sale, with Saturday and Sunday passes as well as a two-day package available. Festivalgoers must present a valid COVID-19 immunization card or a COVID-19 test result that is negative.
