Jack Harlow and KFC Announces Team Up And Donates $250,000 To Kentucky Tornado Victims

Congratulations on this new partnership!

To reach out to a younger audience, Jack Harlow has established a year-long team up with fried chicken brand, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC).

The Louisville rapper is expected to "usher in a new era for the renowned fried chicken brand, which will be packed of surprises for fans over the course of the next year, including brand ads, social media activations, menu item releases, and special experiences.”

"I've always wanted to be the biggest musician to come out of Kentucky," Harlow said in a statement. "Now I'm collaborating with @KFC, Kentucky's most well-known brand." We're going to do some major things together in the coming year."

Following the terrible tornadoes in Kentucky that killed 74 people, Jack Harlow, KFC, and Yum! Brands have donated $250,000 to the American Red Cross for recovery efforts.

“It couldn’t come at a better time, as the state needs our help more than ever in the wake of this past weekend’s devastating tornadoes,” Harlow added. “Together we will be donating $250K to the @americanredcross in support of relief efforts. I ask that you donate whatever you can to help those affected by this tragedy.”

In December, Jack Harlow will return to Louisville for his No Place Like Home tour, which will take him to five different venues over five days. Fans will be able to purchase an unique KFC chicken sandwich with Jack Harlow packaging from a food truck outside the inaugural show at Louisville Palace Theatre on Tuesday (December 14).

Jack Harlow isn't the first celebrity to team up with KFC. He announced donations to MPED, The Center for Women Families, Grace James Academy, The Louisville Urban League, and Metro United Way in October, with KFC contributing as well.

“Louisville is more than just an area code to me,” he said at the time. “It means everything to me. It’s the foundation of who I am. I spent all my life fantasizing about being someone that could put the city on a pedestal. It’s important to me to keep some positive energy flowing through the city.

“Things are not easy right now and I feel so privileged to be in the position I’m in. I feel a responsibility to give back and help pave a way for others.”
