Kim Kardashian Wants To Be Legally Single And Restore Original Last Name

Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West in February this year

Amid her divorce from Kanye West, it was revealed that in a court request, Kardashian asked to restore her original last name.

As Kanye West constantly attempts to publicly declare his intention to win back his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, the reality star has officially filed paperwork requesting to be declared legally single.

While performing with Drake at the Free Larry Hoove event in Los Angeles on December 9, the rapper publicly pleaded (and to Kim) his prayer that Kim comes back to him. During the Amazon Prime livestream concert, West added an extra line to his song "Runaway".

"I need you to run right back to me. More specifically, Kimberly.," the rapper sang.

It has been rumored recently that Kardashian is being linked with Pete Davidson after pictures of them holding hands and their numerous dates have been published publicly. West seemingly acknowledged Kardashian's new romance during an appearance on Revolt's "Drink Champs" podcast in November. He referred to Kim's SNL monologue saying, "SNL making my wife say 'I divorced him' on TV because they just wanted to get that bar off, and I have never seen the papers. We're not even divorced. So how we -- because it's no joke to me, my want their parents to stay together. I want their parents -- I want us to be together."

Ahead of Thanksgiving while he was visiting Skid Row, he once again addressed his hope for a reconciliation with Kim. "The narrative that God wants is for you to see that everything can be redeemed. In all these relationships, we’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason — I didn’t know I was going to be standing right here, I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic — but I’m here to change that narrative.," the Yeezy designer shared.
