On Friday, October 15, the couple who tied the knot in 2010 are now officially and legally single.
To recap, ten years after their marriage, Megan filed for divorce from the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor. The couple's irreconcilable disagreements were stated as the cause. In addition, the Transformers actress asked for shared legal and physical custody of their three children.
In May 2020, Brian admitted that he and Megan divorced at the end of 2019. He mentioned that neither of them did anything towards each other and the actress has always been honest to her as he was to her.
He added, "And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special. So we decided let's make sure we don't lose that. That no matter what we're always friends with each other and we're a united front with the kids."
Megan and Brian didn't allow their unresolved divorce to stand in the way of their new relationships. Brian revealed his relationship with Dancing With the Stars pro Sharna Burgess more than ten months ago, in January. They even competed side-by-side on the said show.
As for Megan, she has been dating Machine Gun Kelly for several months after meeting on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass.
Megan was immediately vocal about the singer being her "soulmate," and things have only gotten hotter in the months after.
