Following his experience with DC, James Gunn is gearing up to direct another Guardians of the Galaxy picture for Marvel Studios. Adam Warlock was teased in one of the several post-credits scenes in the previous Guardians of the Galaxy film.

With filming expected to begin immediately next month, Deadline has verified that Will Poulter will play Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 as first reported by The Cosmic Circus. Poulter is most known for his work in The Maze Runner films, The Revenant, Detroit, and the Lord of the Rings series on Amazon.

Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Sean Gunn, and Will Poulter are anticipated to star in James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
