Stranger Things Season 4 teaser trailer is here to give you the creeps

What you should know about the upcoming season

The fourth season of Stranger Things has a teaser trailer to whet your appetite for all things spooky and thrilling for the fans of the establishment. Season 3's conclusion, directed by the Duffer Brothers, did an excellent job of building audience anticipation. The season 4 teaser was shown last Saturday during the Tudum event.

The wait for the fourth season has been excruciating. Since the third season of Stranger Things premiered on July 4th, 2019, it's been more than two years since fans last got to witness what happens next in the blockbuster Netflix series.

When Season 3 premiered, Netflix reported that 18.2 million subscribers had watched the whole season.

Season 4 teasers have already been released, although it may be pretty short, the teaser alone has already accumulated millions of views on YouTube, with many bits and pieces of the lore for speculative fans looking for things they can expect for the release of the new season. A teaser released in February 2020 hinted at the return of a beloved figure. A teaser from May hinted at Eleven's past in a quick way. Another 30-second teaser, released in August, showed several snippets of the upcoming season while also giving an approximate release date of 2022.

However, when Hopper walked into the Upside Down at the end of Stranger Things season 3, a Soviet-era post-credit scene revealed that Hopper had not died but was in enemy hands. Although he survived, the first video from the following season, which aired in February 2020, showed that he's not in great shape.

That Hopper would somehow manage to get out of Russia and come back to the States a changed man was something we already knew. We also had a sneaky hunch that the Byers and Eleven would not be staying away from Hawkins for long. There is a catch, though. There's something about this area that says it hasn't had a good past.

A new season of Stranger Things, created by the Duffer Brothers (who have previously stated that this will not be their final season), will reunite the series' main cast with Winona Ryder, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard (from the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel Afterlife), Gaten Matarazzo, David Harbour (from Black Widow), Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Caleb McLaughlin(from the Netflix slasher series Fear Street). You'll see the original cast and some new characters introduced in season 4, and all you have to do is wait and see.

In 2022, the fourth and final season of Stranger Things will be released on Netflix. If we can speak honestly, we don't want Stranger Things to end with the upcoming release of Stranger Things season 4; our weekends will be even more spooky and thrilling.
