Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, a Marvel and Disney superhero movie, earned the title as the first movie to cross $200 million at the North American box office.

The movie is consistently reigning high since its launch as it recorded a four-day opening of $94.7 million, which made it rank 2nd following Black Widow with $80.3 million from its release. However recently, the sales of Shang Chi surpassed that of Black Widow as the top-grossing film released in North America, during the pandemic.
