James Bond Film Set To Release in U.S. next week

After Skyfall, this is Daniel Craig's second James Bond film.

No Time to Die, the next James Bond film, has finally been released after being postponed not once, but three times due to the epidemic.

No Time to Die was a chance to tie up all the loose ends and finish what I'd begun 15 years ago [in Casino Royale],” Craig stated in answer to a question about what compelled him to return for one more picture after announcing in 2015 that he intended to conclude his time as James Bond.

“I hope [Bond] has changed a lot since I've been a part of him,” Craig added. “I've always tried not to pass judgment on him. He's imperfect, and his outlook on the world and women is dubious, which I find intriguing. We've attempted to deal with it by casting as many strong female characters as possible and pitting him against them.”

Craig described the film's set as "one of the most spectacular he has ever been on." He said that he was wounded several times throughout the production, but he was pleased with the film's outcome. “I was terrified of heights when I started Casino Royale, and now I'm not.”

In a prior interview, he stated that his favorite device is the "simple" silver box used by Sean Connery's Bond to sneak into a safe in You Only Live Twice, although he cautioned, "You can't have gadgets for gadgets' sake."

Overall, it offers a picture of a high-octane, sometimes challenging, but tremendously rich few years that revolutionized the Bond brand and saw Craig completely embrace the character. “James Bond has transformed my life immensely – and for the better 99 percent of the time.” I could never have gotten to where I am now if it hadn't been for James Bond.”
