Rihanna has built an empire online with lace catsuits and satin loungewear with Savage X Fenty. But it looks like it won't be just online for long.
Christaine Pendarvis, co-president and chief merchandising and design officer of the brand claimed that retail is an important part of their growth strategy so we will definitely see some stores in the year 2022.She also said that it would address the fact that some customers are not as comfortable buying merchandise online because of the importance of fit and comfort.
Savage X Fenty are looking into having their own physical stores unlike the current format of a store within a store. Initially they plan for this to be all in the U.S. but they are also thinking of branching out in the EU regions.
Rihanna has Savage X Fenty and Fenty Beauty under her belt. Fenty Beauty has been widely popular since its launch in 2017 for being very inclusive. They aim to offer choices to customers often overlooked by more traditional brands. In fact, Fenty Beauty became viral for having over 40 plus foundation shades and Savage X Fenty carries sizes up to 4XL.
Overall, it is looking good for both of Rihanna's brands.
