On March 22, Picturehouse will broadcast the pre-hiatus last concert film of Arashi, the Japanese boyband pop superstar, exclusively in AMC Theaters for one night only.

Shochiku released Arashi Anniversary Tour 520 Picture Record of Memories on November 26, 2021, generating $39.5 million, making it the highest grossing live-action film in Japan year 2021.

Since their debut in 1999, Arashi has regularly been a top-performing act, with five members: Masaki Aiba, Jun Matsumoto, Kazunari Ninomiya, Satoshi Ohno, and Sho Sakurai. In 2019, they released 520 All the Best!!, a collection studio album. Most of their singles and albums have charted at the top of the Oricon music charts, and 1999-2019 was awarded the best-selling album of the year worldwide.

Ninomiya starred in Clint Eastwood's Oscar-winning film Letters From Iwo Jima, and the band also performs as actors.

The group's 20th anniversary tour "520," which was their last concert in front of a live audience before their current break, is featured on Record of Memories. Yukihiko Tsutsumi (First Love, 12 Suicidal Teens), who also directed the group's debut film PIKANCHI in 2002, directed the film. During the production, Tsutsumi used approximately 100 cameras. The tour's attendance of 2.37 million people set a new record for concert attendance in Japan. Arashi's Diary-Voyage, a documentary about the group that follows the members' journey in the two years leading up to their sabbatical, is currently available on Netflix in 28 languages and 190 countries.

Picturehouse and GAGA Corporation, the film's foreign sales agent, are handling the theatrical release of Record of Memories.
