Sony Establishes Talent Venture In India

This will provide Indian actors, artists, athletes, gamers, and content creators with management services.

Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Pictures Entertainment have teamed up to form Sony Entertainment Talent Ventures India, a talent-focused company (SETV).

The new organization will provide management services to Indian actors, artists, athletes, gamers, and content creators, as well as opportunities for co-ventures and other partnerships.

Sony wants to expand its Indian music division, which is one of the country's largest record labels, with Bollywood, Tamil, and other genres, as well as its screen entertainment offerings, which include a broadcast division with 700 million viewers, a production studio, and the streaming service Sony LIV.

Sony will also strive to provide chances for SETV talent across the board, including Sony PlayStation and Sony Electronics.

Vijay Singh, the former CEO of Fox Star Studios India, has been named CEO of SETV. Sanford Panitch, Shridhar Subramaniam, and N.P. The board of directors of SETVI is made up of Singh (Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Sony Pictures Networks India).
