Drake, Eminem, Kanye West Tops Rapper Home Google Searches List

Which among your favorite artists are on the list?

The public's fascination with celebrities and their extravagant lifestyles never fades, as Google's analytics show. Drake, Eminem, and Kanye West have the most searched rapper residences in the world, according to a press release. Drake, on the other hand, takes the cake with over a million searches per year.

Drake's Toronto mansion, designed by renowned Canadian architect Ferris Rafaul, spans over 50,000 square feet and includes an indoor basketball court, marble interiors, 44-foot high ceilings, a 21-square-foot pyramidal skylight, a Bösendorfer concert grand piano designed by Rafaul and Takashi Murakami, and a 3,200-square-foot master bedroom. He revealed why he spent so much money on his "eye-popping pleasure dome" in a 2020 interview with Architectural Digest.

“Because I was building it in my hometown, I wanted the structure to stand firm for 100 years,” he said. “I wanted it to have a monumental scale and feel. It will be one of the things I leave behind, so it had to be timeless and strong.”

Meanwhile, Eminem's house in Michigan is the world's second most Googled Hip Hop house, with roughly 250,000 searches in a year. He's supposed to have just sold a big mansion in Rochester Hills, Michigan, near Detroit, yet he's still thought to possess a residence in his hometown.

Kanye West is the third most searched rap artist, albeit he's a little more difficult to find these days. He moved out of his Calabasas house and into one across the street after his divorce from ex-wife Kim Kardashian. In recent months, he also sold his Wyoming property.

Finally, with approximately 200,000 searches each year, Travis Scott is ranked fourth. While he is in a relationship with Kylie Jenner, he lives in a luxury Los Angeles property next to her Holmby Hills estate.

Confused.com, a home insurance business, examined the most recent Google data to find the most sought-after properties in the world of rappers and hip hop musicians. According to the press release, they "compiled a list of celebrities via desk research using most famous lists from sites such as Forbes, IMDb, Ranker, E Online, and Business Insider, and then used Google Adwords Keyword Planner to look up the number of Google searches for their house in the last 12 months."

“The format ‘[celebrity] house’ was used, in English only, for worldwide searches in Dec 2020-Nov 2021. The sum of all searches from the time period was used as the total. Data correct as of Jan 2022.”

Rihanna, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, Dr. Dre, JAY-Z, Lil Nas X, Beyoncé, Post Malone, Megan Thee Stallion, Nas, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Doja Cat, Wiz Khalifa, and Iggy Azalea are among the Top 20 artists.
