‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ Season 3 Unveils New Cast

The cast includes Disney alumni!

The third season of Disney+ original series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series has began production in Los Angeles. Disney Channel alums Corbin Bleu (High School Musical franchise), Meg Donnelly (Zombies franchise), and Jason Earles (Hannah Montana) have joined the cast as guest stars, alongside two series regulars: newbie Adrian Lyles and Saylor Bell (Disney Channel's I Didn't Do It).

Season 3 of HSMTMTS is directed and executive produced by Tim Federle (Ferdinand, Better Nate Than Ever), and takes place at Camp Shallow Lake, a family-owned sleepaway camp in California, where the Wildcats and their fellow campers stage a high-stakes production of Frozen to determine who is "best in snow." Season 3 of HSMTMTS will also feature music from the Camp Rock and High School Musical franchises, in addition to music from the film.

Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders, Olivia Rose Keegan, and Olivia Rodrigo are among the new cast members, who join Season 1 and 2 stars Joshua Bassett, Matt Cornett, Sofia Wylie, Julia Lester, Dara Reneé, Frankie Rodriguez, Kate Reinders, Olivia Rose Keegan, and Olivia Rodrigo.

Jet, the mysterious new youngster at Camp Shallow Lake, is Adrian Lyles.

Maddox is played by Bell, who is a bright-eyed, quick-witted "techie" who always plays by the rules.

The star of the High School Musical franchise, Bleu, will portray himself.

Val will be played by Donnelly, a strong and humorous college student and veteran camper-turned-counselor-in-training who is gearing up to choreograph the summer production of Frozen.

Dewey Wood, the stone-faced camp director of Camp Shallow Lake, is played by Earles.
