‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Named As The 12th Biggest Box Office Film Worlwide

Congratulations to the cast and crew for another feat!

Sony/Marvel's Spider-Man: No Way Home has surpassed $1.37 billion in international box office in its third weekend, making it the 12th highest-grossing picture of all time. Spider-Man: No Way Home now has an international cume of $759 million after raking in another $78.3 million in 61 locations this weekend. The current abroad frame represents a mere 35% decrease from the previous one.

NWH became the top movie of 2021 for Hollywood overseas on Tuesday, after breaking the $1 billion global barrier to become the year's No. 1 film worldwide (excluding China) last weekend.

During the New Year session, NWH observed a 25 percent increase in UK holds compared to the previous weekend, when cinemas were closed on Christmas Day. The total amount is now $92.4 million. Mexico has currently grossed $64.9 million dollars. France took the lead in the session, winning $8.1 million for a total of $50.2 million.

Korea ($7.2M weekend/-43 percent /$51.4M cume), Germany ($4.5M/+7 percent /$29.5M), Australia ($4.4M/-15 percent /$42M), Indonesia ($3.4M/-46 percent /$22.9M), Brazil ($3.1M/-45 percent / $40.2M), Russia ($3M/-51 percent /$34M), and India ($2.2M/-53 percent /$34.2M) are among the other notable markets on the  Jon Watts-directed juggernaut.

No Way Home has already grossed $83.1 million globally in IMAX, with $30.7 million coming from outside the United States. All of this happens before the webslinger arrives in Japan on Friday of this week.

No Way Home is yet to be released in China, where local title Embrace Again grossed RMB 535 million ($84 million) over the weekend. And it's worth noting that this Tom Holland/Zendaya/Benedict Cumberbatch MCU entry has soared to such dizzying heights in the absence of the major Marvel market — and, in some cases, during late-breaking Covid swells/restrictions.
