Adele may have come back with her new album "30" filled with self-written songs inspired by her romance and subsequent divorce from her ex-husband Simon Konecki. However, along with Adele's successful comeback is the clamour for her personal love life. In recent weeks since the singer debuted her latest album, Adele was also revealed to be in a relationship with a man named Rich Paul.
He is not an actor and he is not a singer. So who is the lucky man who snagged the songstress' heart?
Well, you might be surprised. Rich Paul may be the most influential person in American sports today outside of LeBron James and the man cannot even dribble or dunk to save his life.
Paul is a mega-millionaire sports agent whose company, KLUTCH Sports Group, represents some of the world's biggest names. He is a childhood friend of NBA superstar LeBron James and he started out as James' agent in 2012. Over the ten years since he became James' agent, Paul has carved his own niche and made his name far from the shadows of James. He developed himself to be a master negotiator and his risky, aggressive, and daring approach in negotiations has both amazed and frustated several NBA executives.
Paul made it public during the 2018-2019 NBA season that his client Anthony Davis does not wish to return to the New Orleans Pelicans. It obligated the Pelicans to trade Davis before his contract had expired. It's undaunted moves like these why Paul is shaking up the basketball league crazy.
One of his most recent controversial moves have come under fire for how he handles the Sixers player Ben Simmons. Both Paul and Simmons have publicly stated that Simmons wants out of Philadelphia, but Simmons has not shown up to play even one game this season. Many sports specialists are of the belief that Paul is the mastermind behind the actions and decisions coming from Simmons and his camp. After all, calculated risks are Paul's field of expertise.
