The Bang Bang singer who joined in place of Nick Jonas as the featured coach in the US reality show was rumored to replace long-time The voice coach Blake Shelton. This was alleged because of the fact that the newbie coach is more popular and brings fresh energy to the show.
Shelton who was up for the challenge answered Grande's post on Instagram on Sept. 24. The singer's text screenshot showed Blake Shelton sharing a link to an article, which stated, "Producers at 'The Voice' May Replace Blake Shelton After Ariana Grande Brings a 'Fresh' Energy." The country singer texted her, "Thanks a lot Ari... Thanks a f--kin' lot."
The actress with heart emojis on Shelton's text, suggesting that there's no rift between the coaches in the reality show. Grande and Blake are joined by Kelly Clarkson and John Legend.
Despite being vocal about working alongside seasoned coaches as hard, Ariana Grande said she is having fun in the show.
"i ….. love this show and these souls and i…. just can't wait for it all."
John Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen was so happy to have the singer as part of the show. She said her husband might find it to go to work and see Ariana every day because she and her kids are her biggest fans. "John absolutely knows that this house only listens to Ariana Grande," Teigen shared on social media. "Imagine how awkward it is for John to live in this Ariana Grande household...and have to be him."
