Nicki Minaj confirmed hosting Real Housewives of Potomac

The rapper will be hosting for the show as replacement of Andy Cohen

Nicki Minaj has revealed that she will replace Andy Cohen as the host of the "Real Housewives of Potomac" reunion after months of teasers.

The hip hop star released photographs from the set of the much-anticipated event on Thursday, showing the two of them together behind the scenes. Earlier this year, Minaj released a trailer for the show, which featured remixed lyrics from her famous song "Moment 4 Life" and featured the characters talking about their daily life.
This year, I'll be hosting the reunion. Let me know what questions you'd like me to ask Chile.
However, since then, Minaj has generated a great deal of controversy by making anti-vax remarks in the media.
To her 22.9 million Twitter followers, the "Super Bass" hitmaker recently claimed in a message she sent last month that the Covid-19 immunizations she uses can cause impotence, even though there is no evidence linking the vaccines to infertility.
Because of the Covid-19 vaccine requirement, she revealed that she will not be attending the Met Gala in New York City. She then related an unsubstantiated account about a friend of her cousin in Trinidad who became infertile following a Covid-19 shot.
According to Minaj, his testicles "grew bloated" as a result of the incident.
According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, just over 54% of the country's population has had a vaccination. On CNN, Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief medical adviser to Vice President Joe Biden, said that "she (Minaj) should be thinking twice" before spreading unfounded rumors.
Some of the show's followers rushed to social media on Friday to express their displeasure with the decision to give Minaj a platform after her remarks.
"The #RHOP reunion was hosted by Nicki Minaj, who isn't up to date on her immunizations. As I've seen in videos, she's wandering around without a mask on and not socially separating herself "a Twitter user stated as much.
Another person stated: "Having her host the reunion is utterly absurd."
Some fans, on the other hand, were excited to see Minaj take the reins as host.
"Obsessed #RHOP @Andy @NICKIMINAJ," one person simply reposted the Minaj-Cohen photo.
"This is going to be epicawesome @NICKIMINAJ @Andy @BravoTV," said another.
A spokesperson for Bravo and Andy Cohen has been contacted by CNN seeking comment.
